The Shores pool is a common element of the Shores subdivision and should be open to all Shores Homeowners.

If Association fees subsidize the pool then Association members should be entitled to use it. Sounds like a "no-brainer" to me!

The documents are clear. The pool is a common element to be used by all home/condo owners in the Shores. The fact that this situation has gone on for so long is simply unbelievable to me. Past and current boards can not pick and choose which rules and regs they want to follow. Shores BOD: Now is the time to show you can read and enforce a document. Obviously previous boards could not do so.

The pool should have been opened a long time ago!

The current fee to use the pool is extremely reasonable and the amenities of all facilities add to all property values. You do not need to pay for a whole year to use the pool! Clarification needs to be made concerning opening the pool to all HOMEOWNERS versus all RENTERS/RESIDENTS. Respect of the facilities may not be inherent with all renters. Will there subsequently be increased insurance, maintenence, and supervision(lifeguard) costs involved? What is the current capacity of the pool and what provisions would be made for shutting it down when capacity is reached? Having visited some other community pools, would provisions be made for adult swims at specific intervals and would limits need to be placed on parent/child/age ratio in the pool? I was happy to use the Riverview Club at a discounted homeowner rate for my daughter's wedding. At this time, I have not felt a need for using other aspects of the facilities, but know I have the option. When my children were young, I made the effort to forgo dining out and monitored my spending to be able to provide them with the joys of the Riverview Pool! The discounted fees are acceptable.

I wish you had this site available before. The pool should be available to Home owners..We pay dues and I pay every year and the pool is mostly empty all the time. I know the rates are fair, but another 20 dollars a month for 1 person is alot to some of us..I think it is a wonderful idea and will use it every Sunday,it should be free all the time,we pay a person to watch over the pool and there is not many people there EVER.Please remember a family membership is a luxury and I bought my house here for all the amenities. What does it hurt to make Shores residents Happy??
